Barbara grew up in Haddonfield, New Jersey, and has lived in Delaware for 35 years. She moved to Rehoboth Beach along with her husband, Scott, in 2007 to enjoy the coastal lifestyle after an early retirement from the corporate world. A graduate of the University of Delaware with a BS degree in Medical Technology and Biology, Barbara spent her first career in research, technical, and management positions with the Du Pont Company, and Dade Behring, now Siemens. Her last post was as Director of Manufacturing with responsibility for implementing best practices for quality and supply chain management for Dade Behring, which included traveling around the country and throughout Europe. She brings her strong analytical, organizational and communications skills to a new career in real estate.

Barbara lends a hand to local causes such as the Polar Bear Plunge, the largest annual event benefiting the Special Olympics of Delaware.

A long history of buying, renovating, enjoying and selling properties, both primary homes and vacation homes in several states, has taught her what a Realtor really needs to be. Her lifelong passion for beach real estate was the driving force to her decision to become a Realtor. She believes that the home selling or buying experience is a major life event and it should be handled with responsiveness, professional expertise, and caring attention. Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty in Rehoboth Beach was an easy choice when deciding where to practice real estate. The Sotheby’s upscale marketing, with its unparralled global recognition, combined with the unique teamwork environment of Ocean Atlantic were exactly what Barbara was looking for to help make  her clients successful.
