Rehoboth Beach — Rehoboth Guest House was crowned the first-ever winner of Rehoboth Beach Main Street’s Christmas window decorating contest.

The bed and breakfast at 40 Rehoboth Ave. won the $1,000 first place prize.

Runners-up were Hula Sue, 149 Rehoboth Ave., and The Winding Beam Collection, 206 S. Second St. Each business won a one-year membership to Main Street.

Main Street created the “Dress Your Window Holiday Challenge” as a way to get downtown businesses to deck the halls and storefronts were judged on aesthetics, creativity and effort.

Traditional holiday details such as a sleigh with ice skates and vintage wooden skiis adds to the charm of The Rehoboth Guest House decorations. (Photo by: Deny Howeth)
