The law firm of Procino Wells LLC has long been a trusted source of legal services in the areas of elder law, estate planning, estate administration (probate), and real estate. Established by Laurel native Michele Procino-Wells, the boutique law firm in downtown Seaford has continued to flourish since Procino-Wells first opened it in 2005.

In 1995, she began her legal career at Schmittinger & Rodriguez PA in Dover after graduating from Widener University School of Law that year. By 1998, she had obtained her master of laws degree in taxation and estate planning from Villanova University School of Law and was practicing with George B. Smith Attorneys at Law in Georgetown, which later became Smith, O'Donnell, Procino & Berl LLP after Procino-Wells became partner in 2000. It was in 2005 that she opened her own firm in Seaford known as Procino Wells LLC.

About a year later, Amber B. Woodland joined the firm as a part-time intern while attaining her bachelor of arts degree from Flagler College. With law school in mind, she immersed herself in learning all facets of the firm's practice areas. Once in attendance at Regent University School of Law, she continued her part-time work with the firm as a law clerk.

Procino-Wells' and Woodland's relationship continued to grow, and the pair discovered they shared the same vision, values, and goals. In 2010, after earning her law degree, Woodland joined Procino Wells as an associate attorney.

Both women have long known that the partnership would eventually become a reality. On Jan. 1,  they formed Procino-Wells & Woodland LLC.

The attorneys of Procino-Wells & Woodland are supported by a staff of eight women, each of whom is dedicated to one of the firm's specialized practice areas. Having worked hard to become a boutique firm concentrating in only certain areas of the law, Procino-Wells & Woodland strives to maintain a small-town, comfortable office atmosphere. The latest technological tools are used for word/data processing, scanning and computerized research to help lower costs while improving service.

Procino-Wells & Woodland is at  225 High St. in Seaford; call 302-628-4140 or go to www.seafordlaw.com.
