Beacon and Mariner middle schools' field hockey teams participated in the Cape Middle School Play Day at Cape Henlopen High School Saturday, Sept. 7. Nine schools from Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland brought 13 teams to participate in the annual event. It was a day of dodging, dribbling and shooting to get the teams prepared for the upcoming seasons.
