Millsboro boy celebrates birthday by donation to cat rescue shelter

The volunteers at Josie’s Place Cat Rescue in Millsboro caught Caleb Brownstein doing a good deed during a recent visit to the shelter.

For his 13th birthday, Caleb decided in lieu of gifts for himself to ask each of his family and friends to help him with his birthday wish. During the first week of April, Caleb stopped by DJ's Pet Depot in Lewes to make his donation. He had collected $260, which he used to buy some much-needed cat supplies. The cats enjoyed all the attention they received from Caleb and have a stockpile of toys to last them quite awhile.
