Milton 9-10 All-Stars handle Millsboro 17-8

The Milton 9-10-year-old All-Stars cranked up the offense against a tough Millsboro squad at the Laurel Little League complex June 30, scoring five runs in the second inning, and they never looked back, finishing the game 17-8.

Hunter Rauch led the Milton squad going 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs. Nick Cox and Brian Sponaugle each went 2-for-4 from the plate with three RBIs.

Milton pitchers Hunter Rauch, Chase Boyle and Nick Cox combined for nine strikeouts from the mound.

Milton moves on to play Laurel in the fourth round of the District 3 playoffs Wednesday, July 2.
