Milton Farmers Market held a soft opening April 19 in anticipation of its grand opening Friday, April 26. Celebrating its third season, the market in downtown Milton on the corner of Union Street and Magnolia Street across from the library, is open every Friday from 3:30 until 6:30 p.m., offering fresh local meats, plants, baked goods and produce along with live music and barbecue meals.

Shown with just a small sample of their produce is Charlie Smith, left, of TS Smith and Sons Farms in Bridgeville with Milton Farmers Market Board Member Jim Crellin. Produce at the farmers market is available from organic farms, hydroponic farms and traditional farms.
