Milton Theatre presents 'Our Miss Brooks' Dinner Theatre March 9
Reservations highly recommendedThe board and volunteers of the Milton Theatre are busily working to fulfill their mission to inspire, entertain and unify the community through high-quality performances and presentations in Milton.
As the first offering of 2013, the Milton Theatre will present "Our Miss Brooks" at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 9. The dinner theatre event is a partnership with Georgetown's Possum Point Players and features a performance by the Possums' Ad Hoc Touring Company of the radio classic. Plus, the talented cast will entertain with a set of comedy skits from the period. The cast includes some favorites from the Possums stage: John Murray, Don Clark, E.J. Panico, Brandon Twilley, Karol Powers-Case, Roger Ault, Ron Pakula, Dick Rosse and Charlie Meyer.
The dinner theatre will be held at the Bay Leaf restaurant on Route 16 in Milton, where there is plenty of parking. The buffet dinner includes something for everyone: grilled chicken, flounder, a pasta dish, scalloped potatoes, green beans, salad, breads, desserts and coffee or tea. There will be a no-host bar for beer, wine and soft drinks.
Attendees can expect this event to include an informal discussion of whatever breaking news there might be about the Milton Theatre.
Tickets are $25 for dinner and the performance. Reservations are highly recommended. Call 302-684-3400 for further information and/or reservations, or email MDC110@Verizon.net.
