Women Worshiping and Reverencing God is the theme and sets the tone for a weekend of events hosted by Pastor A. Iona Smith Nze and the women of Mt. Zion AME Church in Ellendale.  All are invited to the celebration at 18211 Beach Highway.

At 7 p.m., Friday, March 8, revivalists the Rev. Dr. Patricia Green, Mt. Enon Baptist Church, and the Rev. Vera Worthy, Women's missionary consultant of the Wilmington Area AME Churches, will lead the opening program.

Women’s missionary consultant for the Dover Area AME Churches Sister Janice Hill will deliver the word at the 2013 Women’s Day Prayer Breakfast , which will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 9. The cost is $7.

Smith Nze will lead the annual Women's Day Service at 10 a.m., Sunday, March 10. Pastor Joyce Mizzelle, Grace and Mercy Church, Greenwood, will lead the 3 p.m. service. A delicious dinner will be served after the morning service.
