NANTICOKE TO HOST TOOL DRIVE FOR LOCAL HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Nanticoke Health Services will be working with Habitat for Humanity to collect new tools for the nonprofit organization. This effort is in support of the Healthier Sussex County initiative partnership with Sussex County Habitat for Humanity to build two houses in Georgetown.

 

Nanticoke invites staff, employees and the community are invited to participate in the tool drive, which will be held Monday, October 28 through Friday, November 1.   A collection bin will be in the main lobby of Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. For the next few weeks, donations can also be dropped off directly to the Marketing Department at the hospital by calling 302-629-6611 ext. 8948.

As part of the tool drive, Habitat accepts Lowe’s gift cards and the following approved new or gently used tools:

  • 3M dust mask (N95 rating)
  • 6 foot level
  • 7.5 inch Circular saw blades (Regular tooth)
  • Air Hose on reel
  • Carpenters pencils
  • Cat’s Paw
  • Caulk (DAP Brand preferred White)
  • Contractor trash bags
  • Drill bit sets
  • Duct Tape
  • Ear plugs
  • FireX Smoke Detectors (i4618)
  • Framing hammers
  • First Aid Supplies
  • Paint brushes
  • Paint Roller Covers
  • Paint Roller Frames
  • Paint trays
  • Paint tray liners
  • Painters tape
  • Ratchet straps
  • Safety glasses
  • Sanding blocks
  • Screw bit sets
