New Nage chefs announce new menu, new look
Just in time to take advantage of fresh, local summer produce, the new chef team at Nage has done the most comprehensive menu overhaul in their 10 years of business and paired it with a fresh new look. Nage owner Josh Grapski wanted a renewed vibe in the restaurant with new artwork, paint, and unique upcycled fixtures. Grapski also added to the classic chalkboard theme by adding more boards throughout the restaurant to note specials, wine features, and upcoming community events.
One of the highlights of the new décor is a wall mural designed by Steve McLerran branding. Grapski and McLerran collaborated with artist Paul Carpenter to create the interesting piece. McLerran mentions that the inspiration was drawn from nature and the bounty of the food the chefs have access to. Various aspects of the wall mural have been added into the menu design as well.
Grapski said, "We understand that times and tastes change. We try to keep Nage fresh and relevant while at the same time remaining committed to what Nage has become over the past 10 years. The new menu reflects this attitude and embraces our bistro nature. Maybe more importantly, it's also a lot of fun to play with the menu for our guests and our team!”
Nage welcomed new Chef de Cuisine Paul Gallo of Abbott's Grill fame in May of this year. Gallo said, “I think the menu really allows us to showcase the area's local summer produce and our great network of area farmers.”
“The menu at Nage is meant to be approachable for a broader group of guests. Come in and dine on a couple courses over the weekend for a special occasion or pop in for a light meal during the week. The new menu really offers more options to make our guests happy,” said Grapski.
Nage is at 19730 Coastal Highway and is open seven days a week serving dinner from 4 p.m. on. Sunday brunch is served 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m., and lunch is served 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday.
