New shop offers skin care, bodywork in Rehoboth BeachHeartWish and Soulstice combine services at the Pearl
Rehoboth Beach — Soulstice Skin and Body and HeartWish Massage and Bodywork have teamed up in a new space in the Cultured Pearl mall.
Soulstice Skin and Body owner Michelle Bossard said she's glad to bring her new business services as a licensed aesthetician and certified massage therapist to the Pearl. The peaceful entry to her new shop, with a bamboo and river-stone water fountain, is a fitting introduction to her services.
"Massage and skin therapy isn't just a relaxing luxury," Bossard said. "It's actually really good to maintain your body and your skin by releasing that built-up stress tension in your muscles."
By staying small, Bossard said she keeps pricing affordable. Most of her services, available by appointment only, include 30- and 60-minute organic facials, massage and body wraps.
Seven years after she first began work as an aesthetician, Bossard said she also provides derma planing, microdermabrasion, waxing and spray tan at the new location as well.
Greer Thompson, owner of HeartWish Massage and Bodywork and a lifelong Rehoboth resident, said relocating her deep tissue massage, body work and chakra-balancing business from the south side of Rehoboth Avenue brings new energy to her work.
"I was across the street, and it was a little more like a beach cottage," Thompson said. "This is a little more professional, and I am already busier here in this new location."
The body work business owners said while they offer some of the same services, teaming up is useful for parties who want to book spa days or couples massage, and their individual services, from facials to crystal work, can be combined in specialized wellness packages.
"This is such a good location," Bossard said. "I've been getting really good feedback, which is great because there's so many new faces."
