A 40-year-old Newark man is charged with two robberies over the Memorial Day weekend – one at the TD Bank along Route 1 at Tanger Midway.

Robert Lloyd was arrested by police in Maryland after leading officers on a chase that started in Charlestown, Md., west of Elkton, said Cpl. John Day of the Delaware State Police.

Maryland officers turned Lloyd over to Delaware State Police following the chase; Lloyd was charged in connection with the May 25 robbery of TD Bank at the Tanger Midway shopping plaza and a May 24 robbery of the Riggins gas station in Newark.
