Rehoboth officials to review applications

The Rehoboth Beach com­missioners will hold a special meeting at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, in the city commissioners’ room, to review applications re­ceived for the city manager job. The commissioners will meet with a representative of search firm Novak Consulting Group to discuss and make decisions on the subsequent elements of the hiring process. The commis­sioners have aimed at having in candidate in place before cur­rent City Manager Greg Ferrese retires Thursday, Dec. 5.

Rehoboth to make appointments

The Rehoboth Beach commissioners will make appointments to several city boards and commissions at their regular meeting, 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, in the city commissioners’ room.

Appointments will be made to the Planning Commission, Parks and Shade Tree Commission, Board of Adjustment and Board of Elections, among others.

The commissioners will also review legal strategy with items of litigation the city is involved in. This agenda item may include an executive session closed to the public.

Milton planners to meet Oct. 15

The Milton Planning & Zon­ing Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Milton Public Library. The group will consider a final site plan review request from Petroleum Equipment Inc. to construct an underground propane tank field located in the community center area of Cannery Village. Point Farm annexation topic of discussion

The Lewes Point Farm An­nexation Committee will meet at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 16, at City Hall. Agenda items in­clude discussion of findings by subcommittees for city services, utilities, finance and zoning; identification and discussion of other issues requiring consider­ation; discussion of preparation of the annexation report to be submitted to the Mayor and City Council for action; and schedul­ing the next meeting, if needed.
