Rehoboth to discuss website overhaul

Rehoboth Beach Communi­cations Committee will meet at 9 a.m., Friday, Jan. 24, in the Commissioners’ Room at 229 Rehoboth Ave. The committee is scheduled to discuss an overhaul of the City of Rehoboth Beach website. The committee will also discuss a proposed welcome let­ter program with City Manager Sharon Lynn.

Cape school board meets Jan. 23

The Cape Henlopen school board will meet at 6 p.m., Thurs­day, Jan. 23, in the cafeteria of Beacon Middle School.

The board will hear a presenta­tion on a college access challenge grant and discuss the upcoming referendum for a new elemen­tary school.

Lewes Board of Adjustment to meet

The Lewes Board of Ad­justment will meet at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 21, at city hall. The panel will consider a request for special exception to the marine commercial district to construct eight townhouses at 402 E. Sa­vannah Road. The application was postponed from the Nov. 19 board meeting. For more information, call city hall at 302-645-7777.

Lewes BPW to meet

The Lewes Board of Pub­lic Works will meet at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22, at city hall. The board will have an open forum and introduction of the new Severn Trent lead operator of the Howard Seymour Water Reclamation Plant. The 2014-15 operations and maintenance budget will be presented to the BPW directors. For more in­formation, call BPW offices at 302-645-6228.

Lewes Finance Committee to meet

The Lewes Finance Committee will meet at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22, at city hall. The group will discuss fees charged 501C3 nonprofit organizations to use city facilities, the fiscal year 2015 budget and the status of current capital projects. To view the agenda, go to ci.lewes.de.us.

County’s airport committee to meet

The Sussex County Airport Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the county’s emergency opera­tions center, 21911 Rudder Lane, Georgetown. The meeting is open to the public.
