'No Kite in Sight' available at local businesses in time for holidays
"No Kite in Sight," a unique children’s book written exclusively about the Delaware beaches, is now available at bookstores and other sites throughout the Cape Region.
The book is a mystery about Tim and Kate, a brother and sister who are flying a kite at the beach. Their kite string breaks, sending the kite soaring out of sight. Where did the kite land? The boardwalk? On a roof? Behind a bush?
Tim and Kate are determined to find their runaway kite. Their search takes them to some of the Delaware beaches' most popular destinations like the Big Fish Grill, Baywood Greens, Bethany Blues, Bethany Beach Books and many more.
Tourists will see familiar vacation destinations featured on the book’s colorful pages. Locals will enjoy seeing their business colleagues and neighbors transformed into cartoon characters.
