Osler a steady hand on Lewes council

By Jackie Finer | May 09, 2014

There are very important development decisions to be made; worries over sea level change; dealing with emergency contingencies; keeping Lewes on a sound fiscal foundation; guarding her historic and maritime traditions; and the ever growing traffic and parking congestion, to name enough challenges in one letter. There is serious work to be accomplished for the town and her citizens.

For the above reasons and more i champion the election of Bonnie Osler for a second term on the city council. Her first term was a test of her dedication to learning the workings of the city and attending to her duties with diligence and integrity. Having attended many city council meetings[ since the eighties] it has been a pleasure observing Bonnie's understanding of the issues debated, her calm and thoughtful respect for different opinions. She is a steady hand on the levers of city power.

Bonnie is a friend as well as a colleague, serving on the founding board of the Greater Lewes Community Village, a nonprofit volunteer organization of neighbors helping neighbors age in place as long as possible. Her leadership in this effort has been steadfast and ongoing from 2011 till the present. Please join me in voting to send Bonnie back to the city council.Thank you.
