Outdoor Antique show set for Sept. 28 in Milton
Antique enthusiasts can enjoy a fun and interesting day outside in downtown historic Milton from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, where several dealers will sell their wares. The show will be next to the Milton Historical Society’s Lydia Black Cannon Museum at 210 Union St. Admission is $3, and all proceeds will benefit the Milton Historical Society.
“Milton is so beautiful this time of year, and we are hosting this antique show to attract to our town dealers and others who like antiques,” said Milton business owner Kathryn Greig, event organizer. “There will be primitive, formal, country, and Victorian antiques, and collectibles including bottles, advertising, and Delaware memorabilia. There will be items to meet all tastes for those who already collect and those who are just getting started.”
More than two dozen quality dealers will exhibit and sell furniture, pottery, art, and other antiques. Dealers are coming from throughout Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. The event is rain or shine.
Milton Antiques store co-owner Greig is promoting the antique show. She and her son Matt Greig have owned Antiques in Milton at 109 Union St. since 2005. The 6,000-square-feet store sells furniture, memorabilia, and other collectibles. It is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m., Sundays.
