Paddleboard Sprint Challenge races on Rehoboth Bay

Alley Oop Skim Shop and East of Maui teamed up Aug. 8 to bring the first stand-up paddleboard race on the bay at Northbeach in Dewey Beach.

The SUP Sprint Challenge featured one-mile and two-mile races for prizes and bragging rights for the inaugural event.

The one-mile race was won by Graham Hill of Baltimore, Md., with a close second place by Aviah Stillman of Wisconsin.

The two-mile feature event was won by Lane DuPont of Kennett Square, Pa., with Nick Bollinger and Jamison Young taking second and third, respectively.
