She was an athletic tomboy kind of gal who loved sports and was great at pool, softball and bowling. She coached a softball team and was beloved to her teammates. She loved to have fun and to laugh a lot. She was a NASCAR fan, and once had the honor of being in the winner’s circle with Dale Earnhardt. She loved cruises, and went on nine!

She is also survived by her husband of almost 20 years, Robert G. Jones. She is also survived by a son, Kyle David Byram of Florida; and two grandchildren, Lileigh and Jackson Byram; and a brother, Jeff Parker and his wife Robin of Georgetown. She is also survived by her aunts, Evelyn Jones, Shirley Procurot, and Annie Parker and her husband Vaughn. She is also survived by a niece, Megan Parker, numerous extended family; and her beloved canine friend Rocky along with her other animal friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded by a brother, Greg Parker. A Memorial Service and Celebration of her Life will be held at Bethesda United Methodist Church on Governor Stockley Road in Georgetown at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 6. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to help offset medical and final expenses.
