Pasta Fagioli to warm up a damp day!!

By Paul Cullen "Unplugged & Uncorked" | Dec 17, 2012

My Mom’s Pasta Fagioli always warmed me up a cold day. Here’s a quick recipe I’ve come up with..
My measurements are not always the best…use your best judgement.

Open a bottle of PCW Rosso and taste to make sure….

1 Carrot diced
1 Celery Rib diced *Chop up leaves also)
1 Onion Diced
2 Cloves of Garlic smashed and diced
1 Bayleaf

In a soup pot saute until veggies are getting soft, add Bay-leaf

Sip Rosso

Add
1 Can of tomatoe Paste
4 Cups of Broth (Chicken, Vegetable)

Mix good and add
1 can of Great Northern Beans(already Cooked)

Sip Rosso

This last batch I added Harris Teeters Chicken Italian Sausage I browned up earlier and diced.
My wife said it was the best I’ve made….

I also added cooked Ditalini pasta a little before serving. And chopped Italian Parsley

Get some OLD World Bread out and warm it up…for dipping

Pour full glass of Rosso and enjoy!!
