PATS Aircraft Systems, in Sussex County Airpark in Georgetown, was recently presented with its fourth consecutive Diamond Award for Excellence from the Federal Aviation Administration. The award honors PATS' commitment to aviation safety through maintenance technician training.

The award requires 100 percent participation from all eligible employees and reflects the company's individual and collective commitment to excellence in training. Each employee enrolled in the FAA's maintenance technician program was required to complete established levels of recurrent and new training.

PATS Aircraft Systems is a Boeing-authorized service center for interior completions, maintenance, modification and auxiliary fuel tank installations. PATS engineering services are also available to support design and certification requirements of in-house projects or additional project work on behalf of the company's global customers.
