Nanticoke Memorial Hospital defines Orthopedic Success by building strong relationships with our patients, partnering with hospital administration to achieve mutual goals, and alignment of incentives, teamwork, and sense of Caring.  Our team CARES.  Now our community CARES.

Nanticoke’s Joint Camp Program, designed to help speed recovery for those having a total joint replacement, has partnered with a local community florist to elevate the level of CARE to patients.  The Joint Camp focuses on a level of CARE that patients both expect and deserve for better recovery outcomes with a true focus on the entire patient experience throughout their continuum of care.  Now, there is much needed additional encouragement from Posey Palace Florist in Seaford.

“It is a privilege to work with a local business that genuinely cares about the people in our community as much as we do. ” said Michele White, Director of Orthopedics, Surgical Specialties Unit, ANS, and Transport Team at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.

Teresa Lindell, owner and operator of Posey Palace Florist located here in Seaford has been established for over 15 years bringing joy to many folks throughout the years. When she learned about Nanticoke’s “Flower Power” Program to help motivate patients recovering from Total Joint Replacement surgery she was more than happy to jump on board and give back to the community. A flower brings joy and lifts spirits ultimately motivating Nanticoke’s Joint Camp patients to having improved outcomes and a speedy recovery.  Teresa has graciously agreed to donate a flower for each patient recovering from total knee, shoulder or total hip surgery to help lift their spirits and get them back to their daily quality of living.
