American Legion Post 17 hosted veterans from Home of the Brave, Delaware Veterans Home and Wilmington VA Medical Center, Sept. 11, to fish off Cape Henlopen State Park Pier. The trip happens twice a year, in spring and late summer.

“We want the veterans to know people are thinking of them,” said Commander John Guenther.
