Prime Hook Road was flooded Oct. 28, a day before a nor'easter moved in off the coast and flooded the road and Primehook Beach community even more. The road was closed during the weekend and reopened Oct. 31. However, Fowler Beach Road, north of Primehook, remained closed so that DelDOT crews could make an inspection to ascertain the extent of the damage.
Residents said the flooding Oct. 29 during the storm was as bad as any recent flooding has been.
