This Saturday, July 5 (6:00pm to 8:30pm), Gallery 50 Contemporary Art & Frame Shop will host its 6th Annual Fine Arts Silent Auction, benefitting AIDS Delaware.

Over twenty-five artists will be auctioning off their work during this fantastic party/event.

The event is in conjunction with the opening of Jason Wright's new exhibit, "Vessels", marking the artist's return to Rehoboth Beach since his move to Kona in Hawaii.

Raffle tickets are on sale now for three wonderful prizes:

1st Prize - $1000 Gift Certificate to Gallery 50 or Philip Morton Gallery

2nd Prize - $200 Gift Certificate to Elegant Slumming Fine Jewelry

3rd Prize - Dinner for Two at Hobos Restaurant

$10 per ticket or $25 for three tickets!  Tickets are on sale NOW at both galleries, Elegant Slumming, SPAHR and can also be purchased by emailing or calling either gallery (tickets will be scanned and emailed to you).  The drawing will take place at the event at 8:15pm.  Winners do not need to be present to win.

In addition to the Silent Auction, the raffle and Jason Wright's opening, Paul Kerkhoven will be onsite designing and selling jewelry, Sean Kenny will be displaying his light installation art, and new works will be displayed by Michael Fitts.

This wonderful event is being supported by the generosity (and awesome food) of Hobos Restaurant, Henlopen City Oyster House, Salt Air Restaurant, and Frank & Louie's - all of Rehoboth Beach.

A preview (and early bidding) of auction items begins Thursday, July 3 at 6pm at the gallery and online.

The event is open to the public....a donation of $10 for at least one raffle ticket while at the event is suggested.

Gallery 50 Contemporary Art & Frame Shop is located next to Henlopen City Oyster House and Salt Air at 50 Wilmington Avenue in downtown Rehoboth Beach (between 1st and 2nd Streets).
