Red Balloon Brunch March 2 to honor 2014 Cancer Crusader and Volunteer Award winners

The Cancer Support Community Delaware will hold its Ninth Annual Red Balloon Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, March 2, at Deerfield Country Club in Newark. The board and brunch committee have announced they will honor Nicholas Petrelli, MD, of the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute as their Cancer Crusader for 2014. Petrelli has agreed to accept the award and represent the employees and physicians who dedicate their work to and with individuals with cancer.

The Cancer Support Community Delaware will also honor Agilent Technologies Inc. as the 2014 Volunteer of the Year Award winner in honor of its hard work and dedication to the maintenance and upkeep of the gardens at the facility headquarters at 4810 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington.

A brunch menu will be served along with a limited open bar, with tickets priced at $125 per person. The event will also feature a silent auction along with a live auction led by Pete Booker, president and CEO of Delmarva Broadcasting.
