Rehoboth Beach Film Society announces student film awards
The Rehoboth Beach Film Society has announced the winners of the annual Morris and Roslyn Fierberg Student Film Award.
First place was awarded to Sarah Rosen, a 2012 graduate of Yale University, for her charming fantasy short feature “Food of Love.” Honorable mention went to Dan Baxter, a senior at De Sales University, for his tongue-in-cheek documentary short “Junk Man.”
Rosen receives a $1,000 cash prize, and Baxter receives a $250 gift card. The awards will be presented to the winners Sunday, Nov.11, as part of the closing celebration of the upcoming Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival.
