Rehoboth Beach Main Street announces Cottage & Town Awards winners

Rehoboth Beach Main Street announced its 2013 Cottage & Town Award winners recently at a reception held at the Rehoboth Beach Museum. Recipients of the awards were bestowed a bronze plaque to proudly display in their home or business.

The 2013 categories and winners include the following: Commercial Preservation/Renovation (large business), Avenue Inn & Spa; Commercial Preservation/Renovation (small business), Bramble & Brine Restaurant; Landscape Renovation, 201 Lake Drive; Residential New Construction, 107 Fifth St.; Residential Preservation, 23 Pennsylvania Ave.; Residential Renovation, 15 Fourth St.

Two businesses also received 2013 Special Recognition certificates: Commercial Preservation/Renovation, Village Improvement Association, and Landscape Renovation/New Plantings, Grove Park Gardens.

Sponsored by Echelon Custom Homes this year, these coveted awards commemorate the preservation and renovations of Rehoboth's charming downtown community. Nominated projects were juried by the Rehoboth Beach Main Street Design Committee.
