A group of Rehoboth community organizations including Rehoboth Beach Sunrise Rotary, the Kindness Committee at Brandywine Senior Living Seaside Pointe, Epworth United Methodist Church and CAMP Rehoboth, spearheaded by Donna Winegar, Brandywine executive director, recently donated items for and packed more than 50 backpacks for kindergarten through eighth-grade students in West Rehoboth.

Pictured are Brandywine Senior Living employees (l-r) Winegar; transportation manager Ralph Wood and dining services director Pam Barnette packing up the backpacks for delivery to the schools.

Brandywine Senior Living at Seaside Pointe sponsors the Seaside Pointe Kindness Committee, which regularly performs acts of kindness throughout the area. This year the committee assembled backpacks for children in the community as they begin the new school year.  Shown are members of the Seaside Pointe Kindness Committee (l-r) Karen Drescher, Wilma Fye, Jeannie Elgin and Joan Selleck. Not pictured is Kindness Committee member Betty Shubert. (Source: Submitted)
