Repass and Lewes team win Meineke Franchisee of Year Award

Dave Repass, the owner of the Meineke Car Care Center in Lewes, and his team are proud to accept the Meineke’s Corporate Franchisee of the Year award.

Dave Repass, the owner of the Meineke Car Care Center in Lewes, and his team are proud to accept the Meineke’s Corporate Franchisee of the Year award. The Lewes car care center location was given the award because of a number of categories in which it excel,s including breaking their own sales records and giving exceptional customer service.

Throughout the Meineke brand, which includes more than 940 car care centers nationwide, Repass and his team have one of the highest customer retention rates in the country. Considering this is only their second year in operation, this was big news for Repass and his team. But as far as why they’ve been given the honor, it’s no secret: their team, from start to finish, takes great care of their customers, and consistently builds trust by carefully explaining all the procedures as well as why they are necessary. The front of the house staff also makes sure to keep their customers abreast of all the upcoming maintenance their car might need.

Some of the success of the location is also attributed to Repass’s involvement in the community. This includes sponsorships for local Cape Henlopen teams, volunteering for community beach clean up projects alongside his crew, and forming personal, lasting friendships with customers. Repass and the entire Meineke staff gave back to the community recently by providing free oil changes to veterans, giving away 102 oil changes, and more than 200 chicken dinners to active and non-active to service members for Veteran’s Day.

Repass is much more than a boss and proprietor of his business. He has built a family of his employees, who are close, tight-knit and upbeat. Repass is almost always on-site, taking a hands-on role in his business, and working closely with his team of employees.

Repass functions as a community and team player, and humbly takes little to no credit for the new award the branch received. Who gets the credit? According to Repass, “Truly, all the credit goes out to our community. The community has embraced us in so many ways and given us a chance to develop relationships with them.” That, Repass says, makes all the difference.
