On Good Friday, April 18, members of River City Church in Georgetown carried a large wooden cross along Route 9 from Georgetown to Rehoboth Beach, a re-enactment of Christ's walk to Calvary, the site of his crucifixion.

The walk started around 9:30 a.m. following a service. The church will have its opening day at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 4, at the CHEER Center in Georgetown.
