Sand on the roadway has forced Department of Transportation crews to limit traffic to one lane northbound as the surface is cleared.
Indian River Inlet — Traffic in the northbound lanes of Route 1 at the Indian River Inlet bridge is limited to one lane as crews from the Department of Transportation clear sand off the road.
A wind from a nor'easter Dec. 26 blew sand from the dune on the roadway. Sand drifts were still evident Thursday morning.
