A Millsboro man was cited with inattentive driving Sept. 23 after running into the back of another truck stopped near Sussex East mobile home community.

Steven H. Largent, 54, was driving a 2000 Ford F150 westbound on Route 9 when he failed to see a 2007 Dodge Ram stopped in traffic, said Master Cpl. Gary Fournier of the Delaware State Police.

Largent crashed into the back of the Dodge Ram driven by David A. Seymore, 49, of Laurel, Fournier said.

Seymore was taken to Beebe Medical Center for nonlife-threatening injuries.

Largent was cited with inattentive driving, driving without a valid license and no insurance in possession.

Three minutes later, Fournier said, another car accident occurred in the same area involving a 1994 Nissan Sentra and a 2008 Volvo SUV. No further information was available.
