The Second Annual Pooches in the Park was held May 17 at Lewes Canalfront Park. This annual event raises funds for Canalfront Park and hosts dogs and their owners to socialize and visit the many vendors in the park. The event was sponsored by Savannah Animal Hospital and PUPS in Lewes. Many demonstrations took place at the event. The Delmarva Dock Dogs showed their leaping in the water skills, flyable demonstrations and Lewes Police Department and the Delaware State Police talked about their K9 partners and put on a demonstration.
