Serious times for serious people
Conclusions drawn from false analogies are inherently incorrect. In Michael Hurd's attempt to simplify the complex challenge of providing basic healthcare for all our citizens he only succeeded in insulting the reader's intelligence and trivializing one of the most serious concerns of our society.
Providing this basic care will benefit us all both financially and morally. The only ones to lose will be the very well reimbursed insurance industry and drug industry, that are spending tens of millions trying to continue their "gravy train." Let us use our collective intelligence to solve the healthcare needs of all our citizens, both rich and poor. This is a serious time for serious people.
