Sposato Landscape Co. Inc. participated in Renewal & Remembrance at Arlington National Cemetery July 9 for the 12th consecutive year. The event, sponsored by Professional Landcare Network, is in its 16th year.

Hundreds of landscape and lawn care professionals from across the nation bring their crews to Arlington National Cemetery to spend the day liming more than 200 acres and performing various other landscaping and irrigation tasks.

Equipped with a team of nine employees, two trucks and trailers, two tractors, three ride-on spreaders and four push spreaders, Sposato personnel joined others to help beautify one of the nation’s most treasured landmarks. Last year, 120 tons of lime were applied to 271 acres, and 30 acres of turf were aerated.

Since its inception, Renewal & Remembrance has contributed more than $2 million to maintain the final resting place for this nation’s heroes.

Sposato Landscape Co. Inc. is a Milton-based company with additional offices in Ocean View and Cambridge, Md. It is a family-owned, full-service company providing both residential and commercial services. For more information go to
