The Starboard lacrosse team defeated Mount Washington 16-14 June 1 to move to the quarterfinal round of the American Lacrosse League Championships at Cape Henlopen's Champions Field.

Starboard takes on McGirks at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 7, at Cape in the quarterfinal round. McGirks knocked out Starboard last year in a tough, hard-nosed game. If Starboard wins, they will play in the semifinal Sunday at a place to be determined by the other quarterfinal.

"It'll be a tough game," said Starboard player-coach Nick Scroggs.
