Sussex Consortium adapts books for easier reading

The Sussex Consortium is in the process of building an adapted book library. Books are adapted to simplify text by summarizing stories or by including picture symbols along with the text. Pages may also be altered so they are more easily turned. The Adapted Book Library will be housed in the Fredrick D. Thomas building in Lewes for use with Sussex Consortium students.  Speech-language pathologist Marisa Wengryn and student Travis Pusey read a book from the Sussex Consortium’s Adapted Book Library.
