Sussex Tech Adult Division students honored
Four adult education students from the Sussex Tech Adult Division were recognized as Outstanding Adult Education Students at a statewide conference held April 13 in Dover.
The conference was sponsored by the Organization of Adult Alumni Students in Service and Delaware Association for Adult and Community Education. The students were nominated by their teachers and recognized for their dedication to their educational programs. Students who were recognized were Antonia Garcia, Taylor Conner, Nicholas Matul and Maria Borja.
Also at the summit, the Sussex Tech Even Start Family Literacy Program hosted a workshop, Project Parenting, in which tips for reading to children were shared.
