TD Bank in Rehoboth robbed

Source: Delaware State Police Police are searching for this man in connection with the robbery of the Rehoboth TD Bank on May 25.

Delaware State Police are searching for a man they say entered the TD Bank May 25 and gave the teller a note demanding cash.

The white man, with short-cropped hair, wearing sunglasses and a red shirt with "Blue Crabs Delaware" written on the front, entered the bank at 34980 Midway Outlet Drive at 1:50 p.m., said Sgt. Paul Shavack of the Delaware State Police.

He gave the teller a note demanding money; the teller turned over an undisclosed amount of cash, Shavack said.

The man fled on foot; no one was hurt during the incident.

Police describe the man as white, 30 to 40 years old, 5-feet-9-inches tall to 6-feet tall, weighing 200 pounds with a stocky build and black hair. In addition to his red shirt, he was wearing khaki shorts and sneakers.
