Teachers become the students

A group of teachers from throughout the state became students for a day Aug. 6 as part the third A Day in Lewes workshop sponsored by the Lewes Education Coalition. The group toured seven sites in and around Lewes to learn what the area has to offer to teachers and students.

Sites included Lewes Historical Society, Lightship Overfalls, Zwaanendael Museum, Fort Miles, Seaside Nature Center at Cape Henlopen State Park, and the Delaware River and Bay Cooperative's DelRiver oil spill recovery vessel.
