Tech juniors get AYES training

Automotive juniors at Sussex Technical High School recently underwent AYES training to prepare them for work-based learning during their senior year. The Automotive Technologies program at Sussex Tech has been recognized as an Automotive Youth Education Systems school partner and participates actively with local businesses to foster student apprenticeships. Troy Ricketts, Student Services academic specialist, taught the training.

Ricketts, standing, leads the AYES session. Students participating in the training are (counterclockwise from bottom left) Trevor Neal of Seaford, Robert Emory of Milton, Jake Tull of Seaford, Anthony Huling of Georgetown, Tyler Wood of Laurel, Carlos Zarate of Laurel, Bradley Trinidad of Selbyville, Nicanor Espinoza of Frankford, Mark Cox of Milford and Matt Zwiebel of Millsboro.
