Sussex Technical High School students had a lot of fun producing the first Prom Fashion Extravaganza March 7. Parents and students had the opportunity to shop at participating vendors before the students strutted their stuff on the runway during the fashion show. Students modeled gowns and tuxedos compliments of Azura Clothing and Carlton’s of Rehoboth.

Parents were invited to sell their daughters' used prom gowns. Your Sister’s Closet, a consignment boutique in Seaford, offered formal dresses for rent for $25. Proceeds from refreshments sold benefited Sussex Tech’s Student Government.

Proceeds from the event supported Sussex Community Crisis Housing Services in Georgetown. Admission price included a canned food item that benefited Sussex Tech’s food pantry.
