The French Table - La Table Française - is a group which meets monthly to have the opportunity to speak French and discuss local and international issues which may affect them or be of interest to them.

Members gather on the second Saturday of each month for a luncheon and animated conversation in French.

The group met Nov. 9 at Victoria's Restaurant in the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel and made plans for a celebration of La Fete de Noel, to be held at noon, Saturday, Dec. 14, at Abbott's Grill in Milford. The monthly gatherings are held in a variety of restaurants in the area, with members coming from Maryland as well as Sussex and Kent counties.

This special meeting will feature the recitation of French Christmas poems and anecdotes and the singing of traditional French Christmas carols.

Anyone interested in attending or wanting more information may call 302-226-0620.
