Rehoboth Beach — A sunny Sunday morning was the setting for the 24th annual Dave Reynolds Biathlon in Rehoboth Beach that saw the 2013 men's and women's winners successfully defend their titles.

Newark's Bradley Brooks knocked out the half-mile swim and 5K run in 28:34 to earn top honors for the third straight year. He ran the course 1:46 faster than last year.

JoAnna Baird of Lutherville Timonium, Md., and the Rehoboth Beach Patrol clocked a time of 30:18 to win the women's race again. Her time, 3:36 faster than 2013, was good enough for seventh overall.
