The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Delaware recently held a variety show to benefit the Home of the Brave Women’s Reintegration Facility in Milford. The American Legion Post 28 was filled as auxiliary units across the state entertained guests with poems, shows and an afternoon of laughter. The show netted more than $1,300 for the first veterans facility for women in the State of Delaware.

Starting off the afternoon with a rousing rendition of "Proud Mary" are (l-r) Aleta Krauss of American Legion Unit 18, Department of Delaware Vice President Arnita Coleman and Department of Delaware Treasurer Lisamarie McCarley.
