The Village Improvement Association held its Fourth Annual Splendor of Spring Fashion Show at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club April 5. This very popular event featured silent and ticket auctions, lunch and raffles. Funds raised at the event will be applied to the VIA’s Capital Campaign and and its community charitable giving.

Numerous local businesses donated to the auctions along with local clothing stores and boutiques that provided the garments for the fashion show. New this year were local dignitaries escorting the models during the second half of the show. Making her way down the aisle is Melissa Thoroughgood, escorted by Sen. Ernie Lopez, R-Lewes. Thoroughgood is wearing a magenta cocktail dress provided by the The Fabulous Dress in the Camelot Shopping Center.
