Wake up Delaware before it's too late
Made your New Year's resolution yet? If not, here is a suggestion: Resolve to keep an eye on your so-called representatives. Seems the governor of Delaware has by-passed the county councils to himself rezone the whole state.
Seems the plans are in place to enlarge government so more regulations can be dictated by appointed bureaucrats. Regulations now have the power of law to fine you, take your property, or even imprison you for violations that are being written faster than you can find out about them.
In your governments, both state and national representation is being erased and replaced by unconstitutional efforts of the administrations and by their appointed bureaucrat regulators. Those administrations are over-reaching their legally assigned tasks with the "regs" and dictatorial executive orders that are not within their purview. If you were to resolve to look into the host of regulations written by your state and federal governments you would be stunned to find out that even international regs are being pulled into the mix.
Resolve to look into the percentage of state legislators who are simultaneously acting as employees of the state of Delaware. They will soon be voting for the administrations' pay increases, as well as their own and pensions too. Think there's some pressure on them?
Most states don't allow you to represent your employer as a state representative or senator. I wrote to the governor's office to get a report as to how many state employees and pensioners are in the state legislative groups. I received no response. I hear, however, it is in the 30 percent range. Seems a conflict of interest, doesn't it? Have you checked out any of the president's executive orders? Resolve to take a little time for that too.
How come we don't have most citizens' power of recall and referendum like other states? You won't get it unless your demand it.
Democrats and Republicans both have to wake up and figure out what's going so wrong in the US of A today and fix it before its totally broken. Wake up Delaware.
