If you've come down with a case of dance fever, there is only one thing that will get you right: a night out. Lucky for us there are great places to dance the night away. It all depends on what kind of dancing you are looking for and where you are.

Bethany Blues, 618285 Coastal Hwy, Lewes

If you are looking to dance and you want to do it blues style, Bethany Blues in Lewes is the place for you. Musical talent is brought to this stage via Sydney Arzt, former owner of Sydney’s Blues & Jazz in Rehoboth Beach.  She makes this place a musical hot spot. Enjoy the groove at Bethany Blues. Live bands are playing every Friday and Saturday.

Irish Eyes, 213 Anglers Road, Lewes

With live music every Thursday Saturday and Sunday at its waterfront locale in Lewes, this a great spot to enjoy drinks, dinner and dancing. Everyone from Big Hat No Cattle to Willowbrook and Fish Whistle are playing there over the next couple of months, so check out the lineup, pick a date and get your booty down to Irish Eyes to enjoy the sounds of local and regional talent.

The Pond, 3 S. First St. Rehoboth Beach

Between live bands and DJs on Saturday and Sunday nights, this a good place to get your dance on in-town Rehoboth. Also notable is that they have a lot of karaoke nights at The Pond, so you can go dancing one night and sing your heart out the next.

The Starboard, 2009 Highway One, Dewey Beach

With music every night of the week in the summer, The Starboard is a great place to get down in Dewey. Enjoy music from DJs and live acts as well as great drink specials. The Starboard is always packed with a lively crowd that is sure to keep you moving.

Northbeach, 125 McKinley Ave. & the Bay, Dewey Beach

If you want to dance nightclub style, Northbeach is a great spot to get your dance on. With DJs playing great music, every time I have been to Northbeach, the people is dancing and the drinks are flowing. It’s hard not to want to dance with the vibe at Northbeach beckoning you to party. There’s no cover charge, and Tuesdays are $1 night.

Harpoon Hanna’s, Rt 54 & The Bay, Fenwick Island

Located on the bay in Fenwick Island, Harpoon Hannas is a happening party spot with DJ dance parties and deck parties every Friday night (no cover charge). They have great drink specials, and a fun atmosphere. If you are in the Fenwick area, this is a great place to dance!
